Last night's NCIS was okay. I don't really like Vance (I like his wife - who has been in 2 episodes - more) but this ep wasn't nearly as bad as last season's Vance episode. Mostly for me this episode was about McGee because SEAN MURRAY IS SO INCREDIBLY ADORKABLE IT'S RIDICULOUS. So here's a McGee picspam from 7x07 "Endgame."

It's a good thing I have Sunday and Monday off work. I have some serious catching up to do.

Though not at that midway point he references quite yet Neil Gaiman's NaNoWriMo pep talk from two years ago makes me feel much better. Even if I'm still behind.

I haven't read them yet (I'll do it tomorrow) but Christopher Moore posted the first TWO chapters of his next book Bite Me (which comes out April 1st). ABBY NORMAL, I HAVE MISSED YOU.

The second half of my shift today was made tolerable because of Kyle, who was working at the register next to mine. Kyle watches Castle, Bones, Buffy, Angel, Glee, and Dollhouse and listens to Relient K. (He's never seen Firefly or Dr. Horrible; I told him he needs to take care of that.) It was nice having someone to talk to while I worked. Usually I'm up at POS by myself.

HIMYM and BBT both made me laugh out loud a LOT tonight. Solid episodes for both. (CYLON TOAST.) ( But Castle... )

Robert Wagner is going to play Tony's dad on NCIS. I wonder if he'll turn out to be the physically abusive alcoholic asshole fandom has assumed he is. (Oooo, if he is, does that mean we get protective!Gibbs?)

I'm very glad I don't have work tomorrow. I slacked off on my word count today - I was so tired when I got home and Monday night tv was calling to me - so I can [hopefully] catch up tomorrow.

NBC has ordered 6 more episodes of Chuck, which brings the episode total to 19. Between the increased order and the season 2 DVDs coming out January 5th, it looks more and more likely that Chuck will start in January, rather than after the Olympics in March. WOOT.

Mark Harmon interview with TVGuide and Cote de Pablo's, too. And, true to form, Weatherly invades Cote's interview. :D I love that, when asked, she says they'll do this show as long as Mark wants to. David said the same thing in an interview once. I love that they all kind of defer to him as team leader.

I work 1-9:30 today. Ugh. I hope today is better than yesterday; yesterday, every other customer was either rude, asked me questions I couldn't answer, had kids they weren't controlling, etc. And I was the only cashier on the women's side and we were just busy enough that I had to keep calling for additional cashiers and I feel like those people were getting cranky with me for constantly calling them away from their other jobs. Ugh. Thank God I have tomorrow off; I want to organize all my NaNoWriMo notes and maybe watch "Patriot Games" 'cause I've had this random urge to watch that movie for a week now.

So... more of you need to watch NCIS. You know the number 1 reason why you should watch NCIS? More than the stories and the headslaps and the UST and all the hot guys?
