i actually watched 'aliens in the spaceship' today

The West Wing
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I was up late doing math homework one night in 7th grade and my parents were watching it (first season). Mom told me to be quiet and just listen to the teaser and when it was over she asked me what it sounded like. I said it sounded like Sports Night and they let me stay up and watch the rest of the episode (which was a big deal 'cause my bedtime was 9pm).

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I will never ever ever get tired of watching my DVDs (seasons 1-4).

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I love "Mr. Willis of Ohio" and "Celestial Navigation" and "What Kind of Day Has It Been" and "In the Shadow of Two Gunman" and "17 People" and "Two Cathedrals" and "Evidence of Things Not Seen" and a ton more but I'll stop there.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
When the show was still on, sure. I actually used to play over on the message boards at JoshLyman.com. This was the first show where I dabbled in online fandom, actually.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
If by that do you mean I think people should still go out and watch seasons 1-4 (and 5-7 only if they feel compelled), then YES.


The Middleman
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I read the first volume of the comics back when they came out in... 2006? I think? Javi used to write for Lost and Javi wrote the comics, so I read them and I loved them. I got super excited when I heard they were making a tv show.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I don't see myself moving on. It's a little ridiculous how much I love this show and how excited I am for the DVDs. And if Javi keeps writing comics...

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Hmmmm, probably "Clotharian Contamination Protocol," if I had to pick just one. I also love "Flying Fish Zombification," "Panhellenic Ectoplasmic Investigation," and "Palindrome Reversal Palindrome" a lot.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Yup. I've made icons and written fic. Actually the fic I've been happiest with in a long time is the Middleman/World War Z zombie apocalypse fic I wrote a while back. I also really liked my Middleman/Dr. Horrible crossover.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
YES. YES. A MILLION TIMES YES. Christy, get on that. ;)


Angel
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I finally got around to watching Buffy last school year and figured I should finish up the Joss shows I missed out on the first time around.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
What part of "I love Wesley" don't you understand?

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Any episode where Wesley is awesome. Oh wait, that's every episode with Wesley in it.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
LOL, the only fic I've written for Angel has been crossovers with Boooooooones.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Yes. Because Wesley > you.

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I read on Whedonesque that Television's Adam Baldwin was going to be in an episode so I watched that episode just for him and I loved it. That summer, I watched the reruns and kinda fell in love with everything.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Well, I'm still here even after Hart screwed with Hodgins/Angela and Zack, so I guess I'm in for the long haul.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
"Aliens in the Spaceship," hands down.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Icons, fanfic, the works.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Definitely. Especially the first two seasons. Not that I didn't like seasons 3 and 4, 'cause I do, but - in my opinion - seasons 1 and 2 were better.


Christopher Moore
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
We were on vacation in Denver and I'd finished the books I brought so we went to the mall and I saw a book that had "bite me" on a whale fin on the cover and I had to buy it.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
As long as Chris keeps writing, I'll keep reading.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Fluke holds a special place in my heart because it was my first. I also really love A Dirty Job.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I made cover art icons and some quote icons from A Dirty Job, too.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I think everyone should read Chris, most definitely.


Psych
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Dule Hill.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I never plan to move on from a fandom. Pretty much if I love it, I love it for life. LOL, this should have been my answer for this question from the beginning.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
To be honest, I absolutely loved the last two episodes of season three: "Tuesday the 17th" and "An Evening with Mr. Yang." And I'm sure the Josh Malina episode will be a favorite. ;)

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I've made icons.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Of course! New season starts 7 August! :D

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
My mom saw The Eyre Affair in hardback for $6 on the clearance rack at B&N one day and suggested I get it 'cause it looked like something I might like. She was right.

Just like with Chris, if Jasper keeps writing, I'll keep reading.

The Eyre Affair and... First Among Sequels was pretty great with the three Thursdays and Temperance Brennan. I did enjoy all the Hamlet jokes in Something Rotten, too.

Like with Chris, I made icons of the cover art.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
YESSSSS. These books are a bibliophile's dream.


Firefly
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
indilime and _allshallfade and some other members of my flist kept telling me I needed to watch it but I kept putting it off. Then I saw the trailer for "Serenity" and I got the DVDs from NetFlix a few days later.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
It's Firefly. Can you ever stop loving it? I think not.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
"War Stories" and "Out of Gas"

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Oh yeah, fic and icons.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Of course. I got to write a paper about this show for a college course. That really doesn't have anything to do with this question, but I like bragging about that.


Pushing Daisies
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Lee Pace. I fell in love with him during "Wonderfalls" and I saw he had a new show.

I really don't like this question. See every other previous answer.

"Pie-lette," "The Fun in Funeral," and "Bad Habits"

Despite the fact that it's over, yeah, I do. It's a ridiculously cute show. It makes you feel good.

Sports Night: My parents let us (Ste and me) watch a few episodes and we thought they were funny. Jeremy Goodwin was my first tv crush. ♥
Studio 60: Aaron Sorkin. They said Aaron was making a new show and I was there. The end.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I've got the DVDs and I'll watch them forever. I actually have 2 sets of Sports Night (original and 10th anniversary).

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Sports Night: "Shoe Money Tonight," "Dear Louise," "Celebrities," and the last three episodes of the series
Studio 60: "Pilot," "Disaster Show"

Icons, mostly, and a few S60 ficlets.

Sports Night, particularly. It's still my favorite comedy ever and I doubt that will ever change.


Harry Potter
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
In 7th grade I needed to do a book report on a book that recently won an award. Mom had just read in the newspaper that Sorcerer's Stone won... something, so I used it.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
These will always and forever be some of my favorite books ever.

Prisoner of Azkaban and Half-Blood Prince, probably.

Not as much as I used to. The movies don't do it for me that much.
