Ten years ago today, "The West Wing" premiered.

I still miss this show like crazy. Mom and I watched the pilot over lunch.

I feel icky and got sent home early from work because there was nothing for me to do.

So, naturally, I'm gonna go eat Rice Krispies and watch "A Few Good Men."

Ah, college life.

Ten years ago today, a little show called Sports Night premiered on ABC. It lasted two seasons before it was canceled. It was one of my first TV fandoms and it is still my favorite comedy ever.

I miss this show so much. I can't wait until I have the new DVDs.

There's only one class I haven't been to yet - Scriptwriting for Electronic Media - and that's on Tuesday.

I'm done by 10:50a tomorrow. Actually, every Friday. How awesomesauce is that?

Warning: this is a pretty boring entry.

It's almost registration time again (fan-effing-tastic) and when I was looking up film courses today I came across "Lawyers in Lit and Film" and it's taught by Dr. F, my Vampires in Film professor. Unfortunately, it conflicts with two other classes I need to take. DANG. We were gonna cover - among other things - To Kill A Mockingbird, a Grisham novel, and - WAIT FOR IT - "A Few Good Men." I wanna talk about Sorkin in class! Oh well. :( I'm probably going to end up taking "American Film As History" which sounds okay; it should be at least decently fun because Casey and Ben are probably going to take it, too (they're history majors).

I was going to make this whole post about how my glasses have felt really weird the past few days, how they haven't been sitting correctly on my face but I couldn't figure out why, and that my depth perception was all wonky and how oh-so-frustrating it's been. But then I just now realized I tightened the screw on one side too tight the other day and so they haven't been open all the way. I'm an idiot. They're still crooked, of course, although I blame that on my crooked ears.

I just want to go home. 2 days.

Before I read some more Half-Blood Prince, cry (what? I'm on Chapter 26!), and go to bed:

Gosh darn, I miss my Batman and Robin. And J/D. And Jed and Leo. And CJ/Danny. I think it will soon be time for me to start rewatching WW again.

I'll be the first to admit that Studio 60 has many, many flaws. Aaron screwed himself over quite a bit with certain aspects of this show. Regardless of this fact, I'm going to miss it because the parts he did right were done really right.

Oh, heh, before I forget: I'm going to see PotC3 at midnight tonight and since we have to get to the theatre early, I'm going to tape Studio 60 (IT'S BACK!!) and watch it tomorrow. Spoil me for Studio 60 and bad bad bad things will happen to you. >:|

Mom and Dad watch "Brothers and Sisters" and I somehow got roped into watching it tonight. I had nearly forgotten the massive, ridiculous, huge crush I harbored for Sam Seaborn. I mean, Rob Lowe's character is essentially a Republican Sam Seaborn and GUH. I need to watch some West Wing. Sam ♥

AND OMG THERE WAS A COMMERCIAL FOR BIG SHOTS. Joshua!! (He was wearing glasses, btw. Will-frames, not Jeremy-frames.)

01. Ste actually cleaned his room today and it looks neat and amazing. When commenting on the fact that my room is very much the opposite of his, I pointed out that A) I have college dorm room stuff in addition to all my regular bedroom crap, and B) I have several bookshelves. He noticed that I'm rapidly running out of shelf room for my books (Dad and I even added three shelves last summer) and wondered what I would do with all the books I get this summer. Ste thinks I'm going to have at least twenty new books so he made me start a Word document and I have to keep track of all the books I acquire from May 6th to August 17th. He made sure to note that it's books I acquire and not just buy because Dad always buys Harry Potter for us but the HP books live in my room. I've gotten four books so far; this should be an interesting experiment.

02. ScriptFrenzy: it's basically NaNoWriMo in June but you write a 20,000 word screenplay instead. Iiiiiiiiiinteresting.

03. Helloooooooo David Boreanaz. [I think they took this one just for indilime.]

01. In case anyone was wondering, the Elmer's Glue Stick Pen sucks. It was much better in concept than in reality; it doesn't really work. So I took it apart and played with the sticky-tack-not-gluey-type-glue instead. Because I'm four years old.

02. I almost forgot that the Upfronts are next week! Woot! As far as I've heard, NBC is on Monday, ABC is on Tuesday, and FOX (*stabs*) is on Thursday. [I really wish "Bones" wasn't on FOX so I could hate the whole channel in peace. Oh well.]

03. Woot! Fandom interview question from superfrayed: ( These really made me want to watch some WW. )

04. New D&C podcast! Yayness! The last question they read tells them the three things that occur in every podcast and it's pretty hilarious. ( Awesome D&C quotage from the 4 May podcast. )
